Since you have a PS3 based on one of your comment here, you can either 1) get Persona 4 Arena Ultimax and then download the P4A Story Mode DLC or 2) get both Persona 4 Arena and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. P4A Story Mode was released as a DLC for Persona 4 Arena Ultimax in the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions while it is available by default for PS4, Switch and PC versions. If you own either a PS4, Switch and/or PC, get Persona 4 Arena Ultimax but you should play P4A Story Mode first because P4A Story Mode is story mode from Persona 4 Arena which is the Part 1 of Arena duology and Arena Ultimax is Part 2. Other than Dancing games, you should try out Persona 4 Arena games. Take note that the PS4 version of Persona 4 Dancing All Night is only available via a bundle called Endless Night Collection which comes with Persona 3 Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5 Dancing in Starlight. The Dancing games are all available on Vita and PS4. However, Persona 4 Dancing All Night is the only one that have story mode (the game is the final chapter and grand finale for Persona 4 story arc) while for Persona 3 Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5 Dancing in Starlight, the story is instead told though social interaction with respective teammates. If you don't mind rhythm games, you probably will like it. I think Mitsuru is my favorite from the main cast. my favorite social links are Maiko, Tanaka, and Maya. I don’t have any friends who play the games, so I’m hard pressed to share my feelings with anyone! If you actually read all of this, thanks for taking the to read it. I suppose I’ll probably try something like this:Īlso, are the dancing games worth picking up? I know it’s on Switch, but I can’t deny that I just want to experience how I did the first time haha) I look forward to keeping my eyes out for P3 references this time. My next goal is to start Persona Q1 and maybe replay P4G (I sold my old Vita so I got another one just to play it again. It’s like getting invested in a top-notch anime but not really having anything to replace that anime with! I started some late game and I wish I could have seen them through.įinally, I just want to know how you all fill your time after a Persona game. If I did, I would be more dedicated to getting all the social links that I could. Now that I have finished it, I 100% would play it again in the future. That’s just a personal opinion, each game has their cult following and honestly, I doubt anything will ever de-throne P4G in my heart! Overall, with updated gameplay from 4 and 5, this game could potentially be the best in general. Finally, I just buckled down and played it and I’m really happy that I did. Return to the glory of full-motion-video PC. I’ve tried playing P3 for around 1.5 years now, and everytime I’d quit shortly into Tartarus. The sequel to the award-winning tournament fighter, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax ups the ante on the highly praised fighting game formula with battle-altering 1-hit special attacks and new characters, including Yukari Takeba and Junpei Iori from Persona 3, and a brand new character, Sho Minazuki. It was a lot more grindy than 4 or 5, and sometimes I had to take a 3 day break lol! I know that’s a me-thing, that grinding is normal in games like this, but I have to be honest. Speaking of which, P3 is by far my least favorite in gameplay. HOWEVER, I would not really recommend playing TA unless you just really love that gameplay. I really felt bad for the characters involved, but “The Answer” really gave a lot of closure on their end, making the experience a lot more enjoyable imo. Honestly, I’m just a nobody and I know I bring nothing new that hasn’t already been said, but I honestly believe I enjoyed the story of this one the most.ĭon’t get me wrong, the ending upsets me, and I wish Makoto didn’t have to die, but it really does make the game have a lot more meaning to it. Stay tuned here at MP1st for our complete coverage of The Game Awards 2021.As the title states, I finished “The Journey” and “The Answer.”
